Brad Frye Biography:

Intern Location:  Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Greeley CO

Brad Frye was born and raised in Fort Collins and graduated from Colorado State University in 1983 as a social science major with minors in history and theater arts and a secondary social studies teaching certificate.    Brad spent the next 30+ years alternating between working for the National Park Service in Utah, Washington State, Colorado and Wyoming and teaching 6-12 grade social studies in rural communities.    Brad is married to Diane and has four children (two from Diane’s previous marriage and two from Brad’s) and 6 wonderful grandchildren.

Brad accepted Christ into his life when he was in his mid-thirties and grew as a Christian in mostly rural, more conservative denominations but now finds the ELCA Lutheran Church the perfect fit for living a life filled with the grace of Jesus Christ and service to the community.    Brad’s academic and teaching background made the study of Christianity a natural fit and the more he studied, the more he desired to share his faith.   Upon returning to Fort Collins in 2013, Brad began attending Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church and then Diane and Brad became members of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in 2015.   By the grace of God, Brad now feels the call to serve the ELCA Lutheran Church as a Minister of Word and Sacrament.
