Aug 2. Congregation Meeting Results

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of us.

Thank you to everyone who attended one or more of the zoom meetings and returned a ballot by mail. Your interest, support and concerns were part of the larger decision process. While we are taken back by the cost of the project, there is agreement that the new preschool will be worth the effort, as it will be a beautiful gift to our community and will serve many families for decades.

The motion passed for the church to borrow $100,000 in order to complete the conversion of the house to the preschool. A loan application has been accepted at Farmers Bank. The terms will be announced when known.

Members and friends of Faith, who are not affected financially by Covid, are asked to consider making a one time donation, or a 24 month pledge, that will be designated for the retirement of the loan. Gifts may be mailed, dropped off, or given online. Pledge cards will be made available.

If you are interested in seeing the progress of the preschool, an open house and tour can be arranged for you. Contact our office or Pastor John to arrange a time.
